Tyler Straub A B-more based MC/producer by the name of DLake introduced me to "Kept Blue". I was drawn to the raw creativity and messages communicated by his music. I continued to follow all the solo work and collaborations I could find, this album is one of my favorites. There is something really special in all of the stuff the extlabs crew does. Exquisite. Coolest experience with this album Ive had so far is accidentally playing Her Library over the top of Her Foyer by an 8 second delay or so and listening to them like that. They build up together beautifully and give the other time to shine, with Her Foyer ending a minute or so early and giving Her Library, which was moreso the background for most of it, time to shine and wrap things up. It's really lovely to encounter music that can be held in such good conversation with itself. distraughtplant
